What is missing in my Life?
Christopher Titmuss
9:30 am - 4:30 pm Saturday 19 January 2019
Dharma Primary School, Brighton
Our mind can easily get caught up in what is missing in our life - love, a role, peace of mind, children, success, intimacy, fulfilment and more.
We live a life torn between what is present and what is absent.
The duality of presence and absence generates stress, feelings of failure and time pressure.
There are other ways to view the circumstances of our existence.
In this one-day workshop, we explore these issues using mindfulness, meditation and sharing of experiences.
The day will include a talk on the theme, inquiry and questions and answers.

Insight Meditation on
Choiceless Awareness
Know the contact with the immediate world through sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.
Experience the senses without desire to fix or substantiate anything.
Abide with choiceless awareness through experiencing a full sense of the presence of the Here and Now without any preference.
Neither indulging in memories, nor pursuing future dreams, nor looking for something to happen in the present.
Allow your whole being to rest in this choiceless awareness.
Permit a palpably transforming silence and stillness to pervade your being.
Remind yourself, there is nowhere to go to, nowhere to stay fixed on, nowhere to come from.
Not focussing on the personal or impersonal, unity or diversity, sameness or evolution.
Regard any liberating insights as expressions of reality, rather than fruits of "self" effort.
